Job summary

AMN Healthcare is launching a geriatric program in a metro Arizona hospital and seeks an Adult/Geriatrics-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to lead this initiative. The ACNP will provide inpatient geriatric care within a multidisciplinary team and develop care plans aligned with CMS Age-Friendly measures.

Relocation and sign-on bonus are part of the package. The role requires ACNP certification and ideally at least one year of inpatient acute care experience with a solid geriatric background.

Qualifications

Must be ACNP certified.
Preferred 1 year of inpatient acute care experience; strong geriatric background.

Responsibilities

Provide acute, inpatient care to geriatric patients within a multidisciplinary team.
Perform comprehensive geriatric assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Participate in program development aligned with CMS Age-Friendly Health System measures and NICHE certification.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
