Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate quality activity programs.
• Chart patient progress and behavior.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Visit patients unable to participate in group activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude to patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Move intermittently: sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, reach.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
