Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities in planning and directing quality activities for patients, ensuring their recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs are met in line with Life Care standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, adherence to policies, and maintaining professional relationships while promoting patient rights, safety, and engagement across all departments.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience with geriatrics preferred.
• Valid driver's license in current State with satisfactory driving record per Life Care standards.

Aufgaben

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating quality activity programs (includes entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and education).
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Make regular in room visits to patients uninterested or unable to participate in group activities.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
