Fervo Energy in Houston invites a Seismology Intern for a 12-week summer project. You’ll own a project from day one and drive it with your manager, collaborating with geothermal teams.

You’ll test and improve tools that quantify risks before and during operations, processing datasets and geologic data to sharpen predictive power.

At the end you’ll present your work to the executive leadership team, department leads, and fellow interns, gaining real results and a pathway forward.

Qualifications

• Advanced student in a STEM field with strong quantitative skills.
• Proficient in data analysis, statistics, and programming.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historic datasets and geologic/geographic data to improve site-specific risk assessments.
• Analyze operational data to improve real-time risk forecasting.
