Fervo Energy invites motivated interns to work on real reservoir engineering challenges over a 12-week period. You will develop and apply analytical models to evaluate well performance and contribute to modeling efforts that inform future well designs, ensuring practical impact and learning.

Successful candidates will join a collaborative team, present findings to leadership, and gain exposure to executive-level discussions and real-world geothermal project development.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior, Senior, Master's, or PhD candidate in petroleum or energy-related engineering program wrapping up within the next year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build analytical models (e.g., material balance, CRM, nodal analysis) to evaluate well performance.
• Compare analytical model results to numerical model results.
• Analyze injection, production, pressure, and well data.
• Attend Resource team meetings, stimulation calls, and RE shares to build familiarity with operations.
