Qualifications

• Familiar with data-management systems (e.g. MySQL, SQLite, Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Access).
• Familiar with GIS applications.
• Familiar with geological and reservoir engineering applications (e.g. GOCAD/SKUA, Petrel, Eclipse, VIP, Volsung, Tetrad, CMG STARS, TOUGH2).
• Experience in programming languages (Fortran, C/C++, Python).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Intern must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive mountainous roads.

Responsibilities

• Assist Geothermal Production Analytics team with data analysis of production and injection.
• Develop data-management improvement recommendations.
• Build reservoir and steam-gathering system performance evaluation models for field development.
• Create simulation models for field performance studies.
