Job summary

Qualifications

• Student currently pursuing Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or earth sciences.
• Analytical/technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving.
• Familiar with data-management systems (e.g. MySQL, SQLite, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access).
• Familiar with GIS applications.
• Familiar with geological and reservoir engineering applications (GOCAD/SKUA, Petrel, Eclipse, VIP, TOUGH2, etc).
• Experience in programming languages (Fortran, C/C++, Python).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Intern must hold a valid driver’s license, and have the ability to drive mountainous roads.

Responsibilities

• Assist Analytics team in analyzing production and injection data.
• Develop data-management improvement recommendations.
• Conduct reservoir and steam gathering system performance evaluations.
• Build simulation models for field performance studies.
