You will mentor engineers, own critical specifications, and manage cost and constructability while ensuring compliance with IEEE, NEC, NERC, and NFPA standards. This role emphasizes collaboration with process, reservoir, and drilling teams and requires in-office presence in Houston three days a week.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to translate technical complexity into clear decisions.
• Experience leading high-performing engineering teams on large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the electrical technical lead on major capital projects.
• Own specifications, design, and analysis of electrical systems for power generation and surface facilities.
• Lead the electrical design of transmission and substation systems from 13.8 kV through 500 kV.
• Drive first-principles tradeoff analysis across power delivery systems to optimize plant performance.
• Foster a culture of extreme ownership and collaboration across disciplines.
