Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking an Operations Training Manager to build and lead the training function for field and facility operations, delivering technical, safety, and competency-based programs across wellsite operators and technicians.

You will own the training matrix, oversee LMS, and partner with Operations, HSE, and Engineering to ensure every worker has the skills and certifications to work safely. The role includes scaling training for new capital projects and potentially leading a small team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in training or workforce development within complex industrial operations.
• 2+ years leading a training team or building a function from scratch.
• Experience supporting ramp-up for capital projects, plant startups, or commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve structured curricula for field operations.
• Deliver hands-on, classroom, and e-learning training for field personnel.
• Own the training qualification tracking and audit-ready documentation.
• Lead a team of training coordinators and partner with Operations, HSE, and Engineering.
