Job summary

Fervo Energy in Milford, Utah is seeking a rising engineering student for a 12-week internship where you own a real project and present results to senior leadership. You’ll join the Maintenance Engineering team to improve maintenance practices across operating assets and gain hands-on CMMS experience.

We seek ABET-accredited candidates in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related fields with strong communication, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced energy environment.

Qualifications

• Rising junior, senior, or master's candidate wrapping up within the next year
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative and adapt quickly to new challenges
• Enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program in a technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Support development of preventive maintenance plans and schedules
• Develop, facilitate and maintain asset criticality lists, FMEA’s, RCAs, etc.
• Assist with reliability and failure analysis for key equipment
• Help maintain maintenance documentation and CMMS data
• Support cross-site coordination on maintenance best practices
