LJB Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer (Geotechnical/Tunnel) to join our Columbus, OH office. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in underground, trenchless, or tunnel engineering with experience in both design and construction tasks.

Responsibilities include geotechnical analyses, tunnel design support, field coordination, and technical mentorship. Competitive salary and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of tunnel and trenchless projects.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.
• Willingness to travel periodically to project sites and client locations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare analyses, calculations, and designs for geotechnical and underground projects.
• Support planning and design of tunnels, shafts, trenchless crossings, and underground structures.
• Interpret geotechnical data and develop engineering recommendations.
• Produce reports, specifications, and construction documents including GBRs and GDRs.
