Job Juncture is seeking a Geotechnical Superintendent for heavy civil foundations in the Atlanta area. You will oversee self-perform geotechnical crews on drilled shafts, auger cast piles, and soil nails, driving successful, on-budget projects with a safety-first mindset.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in geotechnical construction and hands-on leadership of crews, drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps. Relocation to the Atlanta region is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of geotechnical construction experience across drilled shafts, micropiles, CFA piles, tiebacks, wick drains and soil/rock nails.
• Ability to manage crews, costs and schedules in active field environments.
• Strong safety leadership and ability to coordinate field operations with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects.
• Lead drilled shaft, auger cast pile and earth retention crews.
• Prioritize safety with the safety department and project management.
• Plan means and methods for geotechnical activities with the project team.
• Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps, including maintenance.
• Update project schedules and track field productivity.
• Control labor costs and keep projects on budget.
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and self-perform work.
• Run quality control and field documentation on the job.
• Notify project management of job status and participate in start/close meetings.
