Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, and forensic assignments under licensed engineers. You will observe, document, and write reports while progressing toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.

Primary duties include planning drilling, reducing lab data, drafting geotechnical reports, coordinating field crews, and supporting forensic investigations across projects from pads to industrial

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• EIT certification or exam scheduled is expected.
• Willingness to work in the field on real projects and terrain.
• Clear technical writing skills demonstrated in reports.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
