Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed professional engineers. You will progress toward PE licensure while mentoring and receiving exam support.

Responsibilities include planning drilling, reducing lab data, drafting reports, coordinating field crews, and supporting forensic work on diverse projects from building pads to heavy industrial programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or exam date scheduled.
• Field-willing: readiness for real projects, soil, and weather.
• Clear technical writing.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
