Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed engineers. You will work on projects from building pads to heavy industrial programs and pursue PE licensure with mentorship.

You will rotate through geotechnical, materials, and forensic programs, writing reports that are checked by engineers to ensure precise conclusions.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related degree is required.
• EIT certification or exam scheduled is expected.
• Field-willingness to work on real projects under varying conditions.
• Clear technical writing ability is essential.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice is important.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
