Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Staff Engineer to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed engineers. You will participate in drilling, field testing, data reduction, and progress toward PE licensure through mentorship and exam support.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related required.
• EIT certification or exam scheduled expected.
• Field-willing: able to work on real projects in varying weather conditions.
• Clear technical writing ability.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
