KILO ENGINEERING LLC is seeking a driven Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our Marine on Saint Croix, MN team. This role offers exposure to diverse projects, hands-on fieldwork, and opportunities to grow technical expertise while collaborating with project stakeholders.

The position emphasizes safety, field/lab tasks, and coordination with senior engineers on varied geotechnical investigations, reports, and design support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Strong field and lab skills with willingness to travel to project sites.
• Familiarity with soil mechanics and foundation design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete field training and safety onboarding.
• Perform field, lab, and office tasks with supervision.
• Support project setup, client communications, and scheduling.
• Assist senior engineers on intermediate/complex projects.
• Conduct soil borings, testing, and report preparation.
• Communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
