Qualifications

• B.S. in civil, geotechnical or related engineering field is required.
• EIT designation or ability to obtain it within 6 months for candidates with a qualifying engineering degree.
• 0-5 years of relative engineering experience.
• At least 6 months of experience in an Engineering Field Technician position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical investigations for foundation, slope stability, pavement design and earth retention.
• Perform testing and sampling on geotechnical materials.
• Prepare project documents and deliverables for clients.
• Log borings for geotechnical studies.
• Develop engineering recommendations for review by a senior engineer.
• Use software to aid project analysis.
• Plan field and subsurface investigations.
