Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience preferred.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification preferred, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to commute to the Tampa office and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute geotechnical project tasks including analysis, report preparation, field exploration, and lab services under supervision.
• Assist in geotechnical reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Prepare field packets before field activities.
• Perform field and laboratory sampling and testing.
• Support design and construction with observations, testing, documentation, and progress updates.
• Perform dynamic load testing and non-destructive testing of deep foundations using PDA, EDC, CSL, TIP.
• Inspect deep foundation elements on various projects and review data for QA/QC.
