Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure across geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed PE supervision.

You will rotate through geotechnical, materials, and forensic projects, learn to log borings, reduce data, draft reports, and coordinate field crews while pursuing licensure with exam support.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or exam date scheduled.
• Willing to work in the field conditions.
• Strong technical writing ability.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
