Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks staff engineers to gain exposure in geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed engineers.

You will plan drilling and field tests, reduce lab data, draft geotechnical and materials reports, support forensic investigations, and coordinate field crews and lab scheduling while pursuing PE licensure with mentorship.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or exam scheduled.
• Field-willing: willing to work on site and in various field conditions.
• Clear technical writing skills with ability to convey complex data clearly.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs;
• Reduce and review laboratory data;
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports;
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations;
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects;
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
