Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a staff engineer to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed professional engineers.

You will rotate through geotechnical, materials, and forensic practice, with mentorship and exam support, pursuing PE licensure; field site work and travel are integral to developing practical engineering judgment.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• EIT certificate or exam scheduled required/awaiting date.
• Field-willing: willingness to work in field conditions.
• Clear technical writing required.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
