Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain broad exposure in geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, and forensic assignments under licensed professional engineers.

You will observe drilling activities, contribute to report writing, coordinate field crews, and progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support, while working across field sites and project types.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or exam date scheduled.
• Field-willing: able to work on active sites.
• Clear technical writing skills.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
