Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking Staff Engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, and forensic assignments under licensed PE supervision.

You will plan drilling and field testing, review lab data, draft reports, and coordinate field crews while progressing toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support. This role balances office work with hands-on field experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or exam date scheduled.
• Willingness to work in field conditions on real projects.
• Clear technical writing.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
