Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure in geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensics assignments, and report writing under the supervision of licensed professional engineers.

You will plan drilling and field testing, reduce and review laboratory data, draft geotechnical and materials reports, coordinate field crews, and work toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• EIT certification or exam scheduled preferred.
• Field-willing: willingness to work on-site in field conditions.
• Clear technical writing and communication skills.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
