Job summary

UES, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Staff Engineer to plan, design, and direct engineering testing projects including geotechnical design and civil support. In this role you will assist with site investigations, analyze field and lab data under supervision, and contribute to technical reports.

You’ll collaborate with project engineers and travel up to 70% to client sites. The position requires an EIT, eligibility for P.E., and a B.S.

Qualifications

• Must have EIT certification and be eligible for P.E.
• Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical, or environmental engineering.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with geotechnical site investigations and data collection.
• Support evaluation of subsurface conditions with field and lab data.
• Prepare technical reports and figures; contribute to recommendations.
• Collaborate with project engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review plans and background data to inform evaluations.
• Participate in field and laboratory testing programs; ensure data quality.
