Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in San Antonio seeks an experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer to lead geotechnical and construction materials testing projects from proposal to closeout. You will ensure technical quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance while guiding project teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required in the state(s) of practice or eligible via reciprocity within three months of hire
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages geotechnical and CMT projects from proposal through completion
• Oversees preparation and review of geotechnical reports, including analyses and recommendations
• Ensures all project tasks, from proposal to final invoice, are completed accurately and on time
• Manages project budgets, change orders, invoicing, and collections
• Reviews field reports for quality, accuracy, and completeness
• Prepares and oversees proposals and contracts
• Serves as primary client contact and coordinates project stakeholders
• Hosts and participates in project meetings to present findings and solutions
• Supervises field investigations, drilling, and testing activities
• Provides technical oversight and verifies calculations and recommendations
• Mentors and develops junior staff and project managers
• Supports staffing decisions and resource allocation
• Performs other duties as assigned
