What You'll Do:

• Manage and execute geotechnical subsurface investigations
• Coordinate and monitor field drilling and sampling operations
• Prepare boring logs and develop lab testing programs
• Analyze lab data and perform geotechnical design calculations
• Deliver technical reports and foundation recommendations
• Provide design input for:
  • Building foundations
  • Cut and fill slopes
  • Retaining walls
  • Landslide remediation
  • Roadway rehabilitation
• Oversee construction materials testing (earthwork, concrete, foundations, masonry, pavement)
• Supervise and mentor technical staff and field personnel
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  
  

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of geotechnical experience (consulting preferred)
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geology (M.S. a plus)
• E.I.T. or G.I.T. certification required
• P.E. or P.G. license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Proficiency with geotechnical software and analysis tools
