Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a geotechnical professional in Virginia to prepare geotechnical reports and lead CMT projects. You will manage budgets, write proposals, and oversee field staff training to ensure timely deliverables.

The role involves client meetings, providing technical solutions, and mentoring junior staff while leveraging your PE/P.G. license advantages where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations and meet deadlines.
• Manage CMT projects with daily report review and field staff training.
• Prepare proposals, manage budgets, and handle change orders and invoices.
• Attend client meetings to discuss reports and provide technical solutions.
• Supervise drilling/test pit crews and mentor staff on projects.
