Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) seeks a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to prepare geotechnical reports, analyze data, and deliver recommendations on schedule. Based in Mechanicsburg, PA, you will contribute to project success and liaise with clients and field teams.

You will manage CMT projects, review field reports, train staff, and prepare proposals and budgets. A PE/PG is preferred, and licensing in applicable states is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• P.E. or P.G. preferred; license in the state(s) where you work is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for ECS projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations and meet project deadlines.
• Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects with daily report review and field staff training.
• Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage project budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices.
• Attend project meetings with clients to follow up on reports and provide technical solutions as necessary.
• Supervise drilling/test pit crews and classify soil; mentor staff and support project management.
