Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Sacramento to lead geotechnical investigations for transportation and infrastructure projects. You will apply solid fundamentals, manage assignments with autonomy, and collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver clear, actionable recommendations.

California PE or GE license holders are preferred; candidates with licensure in progress or pending exams are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or close field in civil/geotechnical engineering.
• California PE or GE license preferred; newly licensed engineers welcome to apply.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations, soil mechanics and foundation design.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical assignments with autonomy and mentorship.
• Prepare engineering reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients and senior staff.
• Experience with transportation infrastructure and foundations preferred.
