Job summary

Leoforce is assisting a California-based engineering consultancy in seeking a mid-level Geotechnical Engineer to work on bridges, deep foundations, retaining walls, and roadway improvements. You’ll manage assignments, run analyses, and prepare clear technical reports with recommendations.

Candidates should have a Civil/Geotechnical degree, California PE or GE license preferred (new licenses welcome), and experience in geotechnical investigations and soil mechanics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering assignments, conduct or oversee technical analyses, and prepare clear engineering reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, and senior technical staff.
• Familiarity with geotechnical investigations, subsurface conditions, soil mechanics, foundation design, and related calculations.
