Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer for our Urbandale, IA office to manage geotechnical, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects with technical expertise. You will lead a project/technical team, build client relationships, and prepare proposals while delivering practical geotechnical solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical/civil engineering, 3+ years’ PM experience, and IA PE eligibility or progress toward licensure; travel up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration in IA or ability to attain within 6–12 months.
• Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience.
• Experience managing client relationships and leading a team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, including face-to-face meetings.
• Lead a technical or project team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute scopes, and prepare reports with professional opinions.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
