Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Urbandale, IA office. The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring.

The role emphasizes performing field and laboratory tests, working both independently and as part of a team, and developing geotechnical and materials expertise with potential to obtain a Professional Engineer license. A Bachelor's in civil engineering and EIT eligibility are required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Perform field-related services at least 50% of time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Travel up to 25% of time.

  • Prior professional consulting experience desired
  • Proficiency in field-testing & report writing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related
  • Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
Compensation Range
  • $50,000.00 - $74,000.00
