Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation seeks a Project Engineer to join our Urbandale, IA office. You will develop client relationships, lead project teams, and prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.

Ideal candidates have a BS in geotechnical or civil engineering, 3+ years of PM experience, and PE licensure or ability to obtain in IA within 12 months; travel up to 25% is required. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, 401(k), PTO, and ESOP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical or civil engineering required.
• MS in geotechnical or civil engineering is optional.
• Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, including project and non‑project face‑to‑face meetings.
• Lead a technical or project related team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions.
• Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget).
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards.
• Mentor junior level engineering staff.
• Adhere to corporate health and safety policies.
