Forgen is hiring a Project Engineer I in West Palm Beach, FL. This entry-level role supports both office and field operations, assisting with project planning, coordination, documentation, and execution in alignment with budget, schedule, and contract requirements.

The position applies soils mechanics, hydraulics, structural theory, and surveying while gaining hands-on field experience. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure project efficiency,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in construction or engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for the company.

Responsibilities

• Office Tasks: Assist in the development of project cost estimates, proposals, and material take-offs.
• Field Tasks: Maintain project record documents and review contract plans and specs.
• Prepare daily construction reports and progress tracking.
• Manage, interpret, and perform site surveying.
• Assist with procurement or rental of equipment and materials.
• Assist Project Manager with daily cost reporting and tracking.
