Job summary

RK&K is hiring a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Nashville and Knoxville offices. The role involves preparing plans and reports for geotechnical projects in transportation and municipal sectors, supervising field investigations, and developing design computations.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 4+ years of geotechnical design experience. Proficiency in gINT, LPile, APile, MSEW, FB-Pier, Rocscience, GRLWEAP, and Microstation is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 4+ years of geotechnical design experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with gINT, LPile, APile, MSEW, FB-Pier, Rocscience tools, and GRLWEAP.

Responsibilities

• Assist in geotechnical design and analysis for transportation and municipal projects.
• Supervise field investigations and prepare design computations.
• Prepare geotechnical recommendations, contract plans, and cost estimates.
