Schnabel’s Greensboro, NC office seeks a Project Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical and interdisciplinary dam projects. You will manage field investigations, analyze data, and prepare technical reports with a team-focused approach.

Ideal candidates bring ABET‑accredited civil engineering credentials, PE licensure, 4+ years of geotechnical consulting, and strong CAD/GIS/software proficiency. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with ability to obtain licensure by comity.
• 4+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage, execute, and provide technical support on geotechnical and dam projects.
• Plan and oversee field investigations and data analysis.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, drawings, specs, and presentations.
• Communicate with clients and regulators to meet goals and budgets.
• Supervise and mentor geotechnical staff; promote team culture.
