Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed PE with ability to obtain licensure by comity (NCEES).
• 10+ years in consulting geotechnical engineering.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and GIS for geotechnical deliverables.
• Experience with GeoStudio, Gint/OpenGround, Shoring Suite, STAAD Pro, LPILE, SHAFT, Settle3D, Leapfrog, RocScience, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support geotechnical and interdisciplinary dam projects in a team setting.
• Plan and manage field investigations and data review.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, drawings, specs, and presentations.
• Communicate with clients/regulators and manage project resources.
• Supervise and mentor geotechnical staff and geologist personnel.
• Foster a collaborative office culture in Greensboro, NC.
• Contribute to Schnabel’s brand through thought leadership.
