Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a Construction Services Project Manager to oversee geotechnical earthwork, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects. This role focuses on managing project execution, coordinating with clients and project teams, and ensuring safety and accuracy according to project requirements.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of testing/inspection experience and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• BS, MS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Materials Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years construction materials testing and inspection experience.
• 2+ years project management in testing/inspection.
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in proposals and materials quantity take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and materials testing projects.
• Manage project budgets and meet and interact with clients and design professionals.
• Coordinate and oversee all field activities, including field technicians and inspectors.
• Visit project sites to evaluate work being performed.
• Review all project-related paperwork.
• Assist in troubleshooting project-related issues.
