PACSCON GeoEnvironmental, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks geotechnical/construction materials testing field and laboratory technicians. You will perform testing on soils, concrete and other materials, conduct site observations, and follow procedures under supervision.

The role offers opportunities to grow with the company, flexible scheduling, and involvement in diverse projects across geotechnical engineering and environmental services.

Competenze

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience performing construction materials testing / inspections is preferred, but not required.
• Experienced professionals are highly encouraged to apply.
• Must have basic math, calculator and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication.
• Must be able to read and understand work plans.
• Must be able to work off shifts and overtime.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required).
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds.

Mansioni

• Perform testing and sampling of soils, concrete, pavement, and other construction materials at active construction sites and/or in the laboratory.
• Review construction plans to determine the testing required, and track testing performed.
• Communicate with client and project team on construction progress and testing results.
• Prepare daily field reports of construction activities and testing results.
• Other duties may be assigned.
