Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. seeks an Instrumentation Technician for our Manhattan office at 104 W 29th Street, NY. The role combines field installation and readings with office duties, including preparing monitoring reports and figures.

Training will be provided, and supervision comes from a Project Manager. The candidate will work in a flexible hybrid environment, travel as needed, and may work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with a technical concentration is required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in New York City.
• Able to work both in field and office settings.
• Valid New York Driver’s License is required.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, read, maintain, and troubleshoot geotechnical instrumentation in the field.
• Prepare field reports and monitoring figures; support monitoring programs.
• Office tasks include inventory management, testing instruments, and fleet organization.
