Geocomp, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager experienced in geotechnical instrumentation to join our team in New York, NY or Baltimore, MD. You will design instrumentation systems, oversee field installations, interpret monitoring data, and manage client relationships on heavy civil projects.

The role requires 7+ years in consulting with 4+ years in instrumentation, strong bid-writing skills, and a commitment to safety and collaboration. Occasional travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
• 7+ years consulting experience with 4+ years in instrumentation.
• Experience preparing bids and technical proposals for general contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design instrumentation systems for geotechnical projects.
• Coordinate field installation and monitor instrumentation performance.
• Evaluate monitoring data and report results.
• Prepare instrumentation bids and technical proposals.
• Manage project staff and field activities.
• Prepare technical reports and interpret data for clients.
• Promote health and safety practices and project standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with project teams.
