Job summary

Geocomp, Inc. in New York, NY or Baltimore, MD seeks a Project Manager specializing in geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring for heavy civil construction projects.

You will design instrumentation programs, supervise field installation, evaluate monitoring data, and prepare technical reports and bids. The ideal candidate holds an MS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) with 7+ years of consulting experience, including 4+ years in instrumentation, and a NY PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• MS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical focus.
• 7+ years consulting experience with clients.
• 4+ years in instrumentation and monitoring.
• PE license in NY preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design instrumentation systems for projects.
• Coordinate field installation of equipment.
• Evaluate monitoring data and instrumentation status.
• Prepare bids, proposals, and technical reports.
• Manage project staff and client relationships.
