Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage our Tampa office as Group Manager. You will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the branch, mentoring geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managers.

You will drive technical reviews, expand client interactions, and guide senior staff while recruiting and maintaining an effective team.

Qualifications

8 years of related experience.
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.
Proficient with geotechnical principles and applications.
Experience in laboratory testing, construction observation, and field quality assurance testing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong project management and marketing skills.
Must possess leadership qualifications and be business development oriented.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managers.
Oversee and manage all laboratory operations.
Oversee projects and perform technical report reviews, prepare proposals and manage department P&L.
Assist with marketing by developing client interactions.
Interact with senior staff and mentor junior staff.
