Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Geospatial Data Specialist in the Houston area to manage geospatial datasets using ArcGIS Pro. You will create and maintain well-related geospatial assets, update classifications, and ensure data reflects business needs.

You will gather data from multiple systems, validate integrity, and collaborate with Geoscience and Reservoir teams. Strong analytical skills and Lean/practice mindset are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a data/geo field.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro and geospatial data management.
• Knowledge of enterprise geodatabases (SDE) and geospatial structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver data on tight timelines.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ArcGIS Pro to create, modify, and maintain geospatial assets (well sticks, paths, polygons).
• Update classifications and inventory attributes, determine ownership within DSUs, fairways and areas.
• Maintain well metadata (names, completion designs, lift methods, status).
• Ensure datasets are accurate, current and aligned with business requirements.
