Job summary

The Bergaila Companies seeks a Geotechnician III for a 12-month assignment in Spring, TX. The role focuses on geospatial data management using ArcGIS Pro and collaboration with Geoscience teams to support development decisions.

You will build and maintain well inventories, validate datasets, and deliver custom datasets for stakeholders. A related degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro and geospatial concepts, with ability to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with enterprise geodatabases (SDE) and geospatial data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver data on tight timelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ArcGIS Pro to create and maintain geospatial assets and well data.
• Update classifications and inventory attributes for wells and DSUs.
• Maintain well metadata including names, designs, and development status.
• Ensure geospatial datasets stay accurate and aligned with business needs.
• Gather and validate information from multiple systems (surveys, production data).
• Perform QA checks to ensure consistency between geospatial and operational data.
• Collaborate with Geoscientists and Reservoir Engineers on datasets for decisions.
• Respond to ad hoc inventory and geospatial information requests.
• Participate in reviews and strategy discussions to reflect approved plans.
• Represent the Delaware Business Unit in cross-functional initiatives.
