GTA is looking for a Geotechnical Field Technician in our Richmond, Virginia office. This position is based in Richmond but requires a daily commute to Fredericksburg, VA and includes a work schedule that includes Saturdays. It averages 60 hours a week, typically 10‑hour days.
Ability to stand for extended durations, perform repetitive motions such as lifting and hammering, and use fine motor skills. Regularly lift and/or move 60 pounds, and occasionally lift 80 pounds or more.
Paid hourly. Overtime at 1.5 times the hourly rate. Travel mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate ($0.73 per mile) for travel between office and job site.
