Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects.
• Participate in pre-task planning and report safety concerns.
• Understand and practice quality acumen.
• Support consistent quality standards on proposal and project delivery.
• Develop geotechnical engineering knowledge through assignments.
• Assist in data collection, field observation, inspection, and testing; prepare reports.
• Evaluate laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.
• Consult with technical staff and supervisor on routine projects.
• May perform basic calculations and engineering analysis.
• Draft routine proposals and assist in more complex proposals.
• Perform plan drafting using CAD software.
• Work with engineering technicians on site activities and record daily findings.
• Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
