Job summary
Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a geotechnical engineer to provide technical leadership across field investigations, data analysis, and report writing.
The role supports design and construction projects in multiple sectors while ensuring safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
- Engineering Intern (EIT) preferred or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety rules and report issues to management.
- Understand and practice quality acumen.
- Support consistent quality standards on proposals and project delivery.
- Developing engineering professional; assignments to develop knowledge and abilities.
- Assist in research, data collection, field observation, inspection, and field and lab testing; prepare reports.
- Evaluate routine laboratory and field data for reports.
- Consult with other technical people and supervisor on routine projects.
- May perform basic calculations and engineering analysis.
- Draft routine proposals and assist in preparing more complex proposals.
- Draft plans using CAD software.
- Work with engineering technician crews on site and prepare daily reports.
- Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
